It is only fair to first explain that Yahtahei is not my real name. It is a pseudonym meaning “man from the mountains” in the ancient and long forgotten language of the Toltec peoples. It was chosen because I enjoy the mountains, but live in the flatlands.

I haven’t always been an author, but when life made a collect call, I found myself with the time to combine my many life experiences with my uncommon imagination. There by trading my newly acquired unremarkable life with the excitement of conjured stories summoned from the depths of my minds-eye.

Luckily for me, I live in America with my beautiful and intelligent wife of 50 years, one stupid dog, a self-absorbed cat, and an unquenchable appetite for knowledge. I have always been an avid reader of science fiction, mysteries, and history. My world travels tethered to my vast experience in communications multiplied by my scientific aptitude and proclivity for wisdom, give me a unique ability at creative writing.

My life has been anything but perfect yet everything I've ever read or seen has influenced me in some way. Now, as my life turns to the shady side of the mountains, I believe it is time for me to share some of my ideas with you, the readers.
